Helmet Awareness! Protect Your Beautiful Heads!

Sled Island wants everyone to practice bicycle safety while zipping around town between venues to catch your favourite acts this week! We’re so passionate about it that we’ve team up with Vancouver’s Prohab Helmet Society to give out helmets provided by the Alberta Motor Association to increase helmet awareness. How awesome is that!? Protect your head and listen to sweet music!

 Look for the babes above around town giving away helmets for FREE or by donation. A typical donation in return for one of these classic skateboard-style helmets is up to $60, but payment is up to you. Those who do give, however, can smile extra wide with the knowledge that their moula will go toward the purchase of the next lucky person’s helmet. Have fun, and stay safe at Sled Island!
