Fun for all ages at Sled Island! Music, workshops and more!

All ages in Calgary: it’s a bit like one of those hoagies you nab on a midnight convenience store run when you can’t ignore your hunger. Mystery meat, processed cheeses and sketchy iceberg lettuce – but oh, so satisfying. Sled Island expands all ages this year, squeezing and shrink wrapping 30+ acts into six venues conveniently located on a street corner near you. Wristbands that include all ages events (including Olympic Plaza!) are available at Sloth Records, HENRY or online for $50!

We’re thrilled to announce that Barclay Street Real Estate is generously donating 50 all-ages wristbands with an additional 50 wristbands being matched by Sled Island to be distributed between five local youth-based organizations: Kids up Front, Goodlife Community Bike Shop, Boys and Girls Club of Calgary, Camp Quality, and Mount Royal Jr. High. 

Creative young fans can also enter the Sled Island Facebook contest for their chance to win an all ages wristband. Post a picture of a drawing or something you made that is inspired by Sled Island on our FB wall! It can be a poster design for a show you’re looking forward to, or anything really!
