Wyrd Alberta Weekend Preview!

Sled Island Warm-Up Party at the No. 1 Legion in Calgary is tonight! to kick-off the Wyrd Alberta Traveling Music Festival. This massive 3-day event will feature 14 totally rad bands such as Calgary’s own Women, Topless Mongos and guests Nü Sensae, Oman Ra II, Cosmetics with shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge. We’ll also be announcing our full festival lineup tonight, so don’t miss out! 

Tickets to the Sled Island Warm-Up Party! will be on sale for $20 at the door starting at 7pm. Show starts right away at 7:20pm.

After tonight the Wyrd Alberta Traveling Music Festival will hit the road to Edmonton for Wyrd Fest II, the official after party for Royal Bison Craft & Art Fair and follow-up to the wildly successful Wyrd Fest featuring more flagship Edmonton bands on the bill.

Following this show, the Wyrd Alberta traveling lineup are hustlin’ down to Lethbridge on Sunday for Mammoth Cave Fest that will feature more than twenty five bands of all different genres and half of which will be representing the booming local music scene.
